hello david,
a sc-filter is a switched capacitor filter.
besides the forthcoming sc-filter from doepfer there
is a switched-capacitor filter available from
blacet research, named the "final filtre".
the sc-filter has a very clean sound.
blacets design has a 30db slope and i guess that
dieters sc-filter will have an even steeper slope.
well, we'll see when the prototype is ready.
best wishes
ingo
