i have to agree with florian. i too have the
system100. it has a different sound from the AS and
the Doepfer. but, you can make a million sounds more
with the doepfer modular (and the AS modular, btw)!
and with the right programming and specific modules
you can create similar sounds with the modulars!
my advice either buy a roland system100(expect to pay
the current silly prices though...) or, buy a new
doepfer A100! i would go for the second option!
myself, i first bought and built a big doepfer a100
modular and then i bought a roland system-100.
do not be confused about the system-100m. the
system100 sounds better and warmer than the
system-100m, imho.
