I have two Lexicon Vortex effects units. Anyone else I've had them
since they came out, got one and loved it so much I went right out and got
another. A bit of noise in there though.......
Here's the deal: control inputs. There is an expression pedal input
(stereo 1/4"), and two footpedal inputs (both stereo 1/4") each of which
controls two functions. The expression pedal works as a potentiometer and
(according to the unit's description on sonicstate.com) that input will
respond to a 0-5V CV signal. The dual footswitches act as
"switches-to-ground", and sonicstate.com says they will respond to S-TRIG,
but I don't get it....... The TIP signal is tied to the SHEILD (GND) when
the footswitch is pressed. I can't speculate on how incoming S-trig would
do it.
My question is how can I create a voltage-controlled, momentary "switch to
ground", so that I can activate a footswitch function with a GATE or TRIG
from A-100/MAQ16-3/MCV24
Any other suggestions or experience is greatly appreciated.
