hello bill,
please excuse, i know you asked dieter, but i hope
you accept an answer from me as well :-)
there are two versions of the a150. the old version
will have problems with voltages exceeding +8 volts.
this is still fine with the cv's from the knob rows,
as these are not bigger than +8 volts.
the new revision of the a150 (available since may 2004)
can handle voltages up to +12 volts, recommended
for switching gates and triggers generated by the a155.
as long as you only have the new revisions (check for
"v2" on the pcb) you'll be fine in any case.
if you want to switch all four rows of your two a155 sequencers
and all eight rows of triggers/gates to obtain 16 step sequences,
you'll need 3x a150 (at least two of the new revision) and
at least 1x a180.
from my point of view a good addition to this setup are:
a133 dual polarizer
a156 dual quantizer
and the whole a16x range (a160,161,162....)
i cannot say anything about the forthcoming milton sequencer,
but i agree regarding the release date, i'm not expecting
this module in the very near future.
best wishes
ingo
