 the buchla 281e can also work as attack-release envelope
 and it can function as a four-output quadrature envelope.
 also the separate generators can be linked together by
 a logic function to act as a complex envelope (in a different
 way than the a143/1 i believe).
 the a143/1 has the ability to mix all envelopes in order
 to generate a complex envelope and it has adjustable
 comparators built-in for automatic triggering.
 quite a different set of features ...
