No, definately not! Dynamics is roughly the relation of min. and max.
values in a given period. An exp. VCA reacts faster than a log. VCA
and has thus less punch. That's why some prefer a log. VCA for audio
applications even though an exp. VCA would be technically the correct
choice for audio. Pls, refer to the following link for further
