Just when I thought I had just about finished my Kiwisix upgrade and Polysix restoration. So I set it up with my DAW and upgraded to the latest firmware build. But after trying lots of things out and having fun, I then noticed this strange random changing of parameters when using the Arpeggiator which was synced to the DAW MIDI clock.

At first I thought it might be a bad HD14051BP, since I had already had to replace a couple of bad ones. So I replaced those on the KLM-369, KLM-370 and on the KLM-366 voiceboard, but unfortunately the problem remains.

However I have just been doing some more tests and I noticed that these random parameter changes only seem to occur if I have MIDI Clock coming in to the Kiwisix, at least that is what I can figure out.

I tested this using Cubase and then Reaper, and if MIDI clock is sent out from these DAW's to the Kiwisix then I get random changing parameters on the synth. If I disable MIDI clock then whichever preset is playing
on the Kiwisix remains stable.

Also, adjusting the Kiwisix Global settings I tested this with Master Clock Source set to Internal and to MIDI, but I still get the strange parameter changing with both these modes set, if MIDI Clock is enabled and coming
from the DAW. Also I tried disabling everything else on the Kiwisix global settings, such as CC & NRPN, Sysex, MIDI Soft Through Filter set to Stop All, but these make no difference to the random parameters changing when MIDI Clock is coming in to Kiwisix.

Could anyone who has the latest firmware try and replicate this syncing Kiwisix to use Midi Clock from their DAW.

Or if that works ok for you, is there any particular IC or other component that might be malfunctioning and causing parameters to change at random, for example bad memory chip or other IC.

I also noticed that when these random parameter changes occur, the Write button LED lights up or flickers on and off, although I dont think this is actually causing the errors, but I might be wrong.
