a couple of months ago i done the mod on an 8p. it started then died once i entered test mode. fast forward today and the dead 8p is in fact perfectly fine. i purchased another 8p to replace a couple of ic's from my frevious mod that i had to cut due to not having an electric desolder vacuum. i purchased a vacuum and on this 8p i had no issues and re used the ic's and got the old one working. unfortunatly the second 8p has exact symptoms. ( lost voices and no output.) so i tried to update to the latest firmware and can not. i get a message that
(No buffers available.there is not enough memory available for this task. quite one or more aplicacations to increase available memory. then try again)
is this now a paper weight or is there a way to force flash the firmware?
