I just tested the MIDI In Port of the PE and it works fine, MIDI messages get properly replicated, suggesting that the PE hardware is not the problem here.

I did update the KiwiSix using the uMIDI/O22 without a hitch, so I was expecting the PE to be upgradable with it, too.

But a MIDI Sport 4x4 is on my Thomann wishlist anyway, so I'll order that one and see how it goes.
