v2 will be a downloadable update with no hardware changes.

While I am here I will give a progress update.

All internal maths has been expanded to 32 bit calculations which has stopped over/underflow problems and made for smoother mods. Where possible all outputs use the full 12bit D>A resolution.

Tone storage is now 256 tones which are arranged in 4 bank 'sets'.

The new parameter layout and tone storage layout is finished. Tone parameters are largely finished and Global parameters are still in progress.

An automatic update for exisiting tones to the new layout & storage system will run at the first power up. This takes about 5 seconds.

MidiCC commands for every parameter

Bend ranges have been changed from 2nd, 3rd & 5th to 3rd, 5th & octave

Larger range Chorus & LFO speed ranges. Sense slider will change chorus speed when not in edit mode. Chorus fast speed is now much faster as I have fixed the hardware glitch that was happening. Sense slider A>D timing has been improved to reduce jitter and I will also look at a hardware improvement when I get time.

Larger range ENVs and ENV shaping is still in progress. I have completely rewritten ENVs from scratch and these will work correctly in arp & seq (retriggered for each note and for play along in seq), mono, unison & chord (retrigger if lowest/highest note lifted or pressed depending on mode). This area is very complex and is taking time to get right.

The new menu layout is largely finished and is next to be tested. The new layout can be found on my web site on the news page ( http://kiwitechnics.com/news.htm) .

There is still a lot of work and this will take a little while. If desired I can release it in stages as I finish sections.
