Hi Murray,

I've just succesfully updated my v2 build 1 to this latest version. However, I did have to do the "full factory restore" as no sound could be heard on any of the patches.

The odd thing is that I can't access the Global Params now - when I press TAPE and then Bank A, nothing happens - so I can't change f.e. the MIDI channel... the TAPE light just keeps blinking. I know that the Bank A button works, as it works properly for everything else.

As I made a backup of the patches as you suggested using the "Send All Tones" and "Send Global Params" options, I proceeded to see if I could restore them.

First I played in the "Global Params" sysex through a dedicated connection, but this seemed to have no effect at all. This could be due to the fact that my 3P was set to ch. 12, but now it's obviously at ch. 1, which I can't change :S

Then I played the "All Tones" sysex into the 3P, which appeared to actually be updating the tones (lights blinking in succession), but my Bank C sounds aren't there after it finished with the "Bank D" light on.

Lastly I tried to send an individual "Tone" line from the Tone bulk dump - which worked! For example this one:

Unfortunately, the moment I send another line from that bulk dump, the previous Tone gets lost. Perhaps that's what also happens when sending the entire bulk dump?

Any ideas?
