Seqs are always in edit mode. If you select an existing seq any steps you play will overwrite the existing steps. This is detailed in the user manual. The only way to erase a seq is use the erase key seq as shown in the menu map (Tape:Seq Write, seq number 1-8). Download & study the menu map which you find on the web page and this will help you find you way around. I would suggest you get a colour printout done until you are familiar with it.

I read the manual and can't find information about overdubbing to the sequencer.. am I missing something or is this not available? It'd be really nice to be able to overdub notes into an existing sequence like the stock 3P.

I propose Shift+Rest could be the key combo to clear a sequence and Shift+WriteSeq would overdub additional notes into an existing sequence. Or maybe Tie+WriteSeq would work. Another useful addition would be for Group A/B to actually play the steps when stepping forward and backward through a sequence.
