Thanks for the info, but I say overdub meaning add notes on top of an existing sequence, not overwrite the steps. For example, write a bass line and then overdub chords on top of it keeping the bass line in tact. This can be done on a regular JX-3P by pressing Tie+WriteSeq. Can this be considered for addition to the 3P upgrade? Believe it or not the "primitive" sequencer is the main appeal of the JX-3P for me otherwise might as well get an MKS-30.
