This message means that the main program is corrupted. It also means that the bootloader is probably still ok. The first thing to try is reapplying the bootloader & program which you can download from the files section. You want version P4.9 and B2.9c. Follow the instructions included in the zip file. You will not need the first update file.

If this fails you will require a replacement cpu and if this is the case contact me directly and I will organize this.

I just switched on my Patch Editor which has been working fine, and it now displays the message 'Update Program' with what I presume is a progress bar underneath this message which looks something like this 'II II II II'.

The PE doesn't respond in any way. I've tried the system reset (XMod) command at startup but still nothing. I've also tried reloading both of the firmware files which seems to work fine but when I finish this and cycle the power it just returns to the same 'Update Program' message.

Any ideas?
