I suspect the PE crashed the price of MPG-80  

When the PE was just about due for release I got USD$1700 for  MPG-80 on Ebay --that was going rate

nowdays they are down to average USD$800

the other programers PG-200,300,800 are all pretty much $300-350 and for only $60 more you may as well buy the PE
