I have a Roland Jx8P connected to my PE. It has a slider problem so can only be set to midi ch 16.

My PE however only switches between ch 1 and ch 2, then gets stuck there and doesn't move anymore (not even back to Ch 1).


Also, the bottom line of the LCD will go blank while scrolling through each synth's parameters numbered 0-5 on the left button under the screen.
This behavior exists all of the synths, except Jx-3P.

I have tried changing the power adapter.
Any clues?
