SO i went and bought an MKS-30 today. I really like the sound, and enjoy the difference it has juxtaposed with the JX3p. I have been stacking the two synths as well, so doubling up the oscillators was a nice sound..

The MKS came with a cartridge which still works, but who knows for how long considering the manual says it only lasts for 5 years. This brings me to ask some questions about the Patch Editor I use to program the MKS:

Is there a way currently, or a future way of developing a DUMP from the PE to a DAW? IN this case sysex wouldn't work, but CC might. I was thinking if there was a way to dump all the CC parameters into lets say a clip in ableton, so that this clip could be played back to the PE, which would translate the information to the MKS.

Thoughts?
