I would like to request some guidance / advice concerning the new KIWI-8P Upgrade if I may.  I completed the new Kiwi-8P installation successfully today and am very pleased with it's performance. Immediate boot up, splendid audio, and patch selection methods were great. 

The problems began with the firmware updates.  I attempted to install the latest K8 update received and have run into a system freeze situation. Neither update method given is working and the factory restore scheme does not work at all. I am at a loss as to how to resolve the matter.

The symptoms:  At turn-on, The display quickly indicates KIWITECHNICS, then KIWI8P P1.1 B1.1, and then VB P1.1 B1.0 whch hangs for 10 seconds. The display then proceeds to display patch 111 Piano 1 with a flashing Global Tempo LED. Upon any key press, the LED stops flashing for a few seconds but resumes flashing shortly afterwards. There is no audio at the outputs, no LED action upon SysEx send, no patches can be selected, and no button pushes work at all. Attempting the Factory Restore repeatedly only shows the aforementioned firmware ID and does not restore any functionality. (Kiwi-8P SN 30019).

Would like to post some installation tips but do need to get the firmware issues sorted out first.
