This is appearently a MIDI loop.

The problem is: as you have set it up, you need(!) the loop to control
the 3P with the Patch-Editor.

I cant sketch the loop in ASCII, but I can show it as an endless queue:

We have
...->PE->RME->Ableton->RME->3P->PE->RME->Ableton->RME->3P->PE->RME->Ableton->....

But I think you simply can switch off the Soft-Thru on the Global
settings of the Kiwi-3P. Look at the global parameters B8 and B9. They
are described in the manual-pdf on page 30.
