It sounds like you have just fallen into the same issue that I and a few others have had recently. Its frustrating but dont despair as it is fixable. I would contact Murray at KiwiTechnics and explain what has happened, and while you are waiting for his reply read the following thread. In particular note the sysex config settings for MidiOx if that is what you used to send sysex to the Kiwisix. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/kiwitechnics/conversations/messages/969 .

Just out of curiosity could you let us know whether your Kiwisix is the more recent build and if so it will have 2 different FACTORY sockets. One socket has 6 pins towards the bottom edge of the board (actually they are 6 small holes on the PCB as in 2 x 3) and above them it says FACTORY 2, then there is another socket with 10 pins towards the middle of the PCB (10 holes set out like 2 x 5) and above that is says FACTORY 1.

Or is your Kiwisix an earlier build with just the 10 pins (10 holes set out like 2 x 5). It will just say FACTORY  where the 10 holes are. I hope that makes sense. Let Murray know when you email him as he can then help based on what you need to do.
