Hi syzygy420,
Your Kiwisix board is the same build as mine, v1.05, so like mine there is no 6 pin ISP socket and instead the 10 pin socket labelled FACTORY is used to reprogram the board.
I was able to successfully reprogram my board but needed to purchase a compatible programmer to do the job, but as I may have a couple of other projects that I could use it for sometime I didnt mind. I could have sent it back and asked Murray to do it for me, but then I thought, I wouldn't really learn anything that way, and if it did happen again for any reason, I would have to return it again. And last but not least Murray was kind enough to assist me with a few questions I had and not insistant that I send it back, I thought it was at least worth a try.
I would be happy to help where I can, but as I am not a Mac user, unless you are able to get hold of a PC I am not really sure how much help I can actually be. I have also done a little search online and as far as I can find out the software required to reprogram it is windows only, unless one can find a Mac app that is compatible.
Perhaps in your case it might be better to send it back to sort out. But if you do decide to try and reprogram yourself, let us know and I will help where I can.
Best of luck and hope you get it sorted out soon.
Cheers
Tim
