very naisily and thin, and this is coming from someone who's looking at buying a waldorf. Not strictly an oberheim, this is when Gibson took over I think or at least the name was sold to them. Good for weird pads, take a look at jexus' videos on youtube. The only problem with his videos is he can get the best out of anything so if your not that great at synthesis it can sometimes be hard to achieve what he does with synths.

It seemed to take a beating among the analog purists... but I never actually got my fingers on one.

 

Anyone know much about it
