Since you have the program there is no harm in trying
it out. You won't hurt any thing. I will consult with
my friend this weekend and see what else I can find
out.
In the meantime I can tell you that while the M1000
and the M6 are veary similar as far as their
architechture goes, the the SysEx commands are just
slightly slightly different. I have read that the M6
can be used to program the M1000 but I am not sure if
using a patch editor designed for the M1000 will work
on the M6. The two URLS below will take you to a site
