Ok, now that thanks to this group I got my long neglected Matrix 6 to work, I've found stuff I didn't know before, and I'm not sure whether it's a problem with mine or just a typical feature.
With some patches, especially leads, after playing a fast sequence, one key will "die", meaning it won't respond for a while, as if the contact was gone. Of course this could be just a dirty contact going on and off. But I don't think so because after changing the patch the same key will respond perfectly well, and then next time a completely different key will temporarily die. And so it goes. It seems to affect any of the 61 keys.
It can't be cutoff after exceeding the six voice limit because it also happens with mono patches. Plus, when you use too many fingers in a chord one or more notes will cutoff but will come back to life immediately after youi lift enough fingers: in this thing I'm describing the given key stays unresponsive until you change the patch, even if you're not playing anything else.
Also, this does not happen when I play slow chord changes. Only with fast fingering riffs, mono or chords.
Has anybody seen anything like this
Thanks!
