Yes I still have all that hardware, and a form that I made to log all the sounds with space for comments, so I can have a clue as to what was meant when the sound got named SPLLIDJ or similar.
It has been mentioned somewhere that there aren't really that many sounds you can get with a synth like the Matrix, but we all like what we like, just as it is/was and want it regardless of somebody else's opinion. I think the most direct method is the original cassette, but if you don't want to risk losing it, a wav file made on the laptop usually works OK, and you can email those. I think the resulting MIDI sysex will email ok too, I certainly downloaded enough of those for antique synths over the last few years. I haven't tried posting files to this group, but have sent files ok to other groups and seen them appear after the moderator has approved them. In this case, email direct to you would be more appropriate. Of course you would need to check you can restore them to the M1K with your existing hardware.
