Hey folks, I figured the Matrix is getting old and it's starting to play up a little

I had the machine turn on/off randomly a few times before it wouldn't turn on anymore..

I finally got around to changing the battery a couple days ago, the display came back and everything seemed stable at first.

So I tried to mess around with it, reloaded some of the default patches but I noticed all the sounds were COMPLETELY off and some keys pressed were barely audible.

Tried re-calibrating (twice) - Still nothing

I've tried to do a bit of a search and read about a similar problem elsewhere but I can't seem to find it anymore. :S
Was wondering if anyone owned this machine and or had a similar issue that could possibly help out



Also, while I'm in the middle of fixing, I feel I might replace the capacitors on the PSU as I heard they also go bad over time. (I've never replaced caps before) If anyone give out some pointers that would be great

P.S Did an awful thing by taking out the eeprom OS and snapped both the end legs so I've had to order a new one. Still waiting for it

I was also tempted to reseat the CEM chips and I hope I didn't damage them by doing so but the legs were intact thankfully, I just had to bend them back a bit and it fit back in perfectly.
