Got a strange issue today with my Matrix-1000.

It somehow "freezed" and I powered it off and then on again. Then it remained stuck with the display showing 11.6 (I got firmware 1.16 on it).

Nothing helped, I couldn't do anything.

I then remove 1.16 and put 1.11 back in it: similar behavior. No boot, display stuck showing 88.8!!!

After lunch I got back to it, pulled out 1.11 and cleaned both 1.11 and 1.16 chip pins with isopropanol. Then I also "seated" all other socketed chips.

I then put 1.16 back in, powered on and it works now.

What do you think could've been the cause

Will it likely to be happening again
