Can't remember, it was in 1999. I searched oberheim patches in Ask Jeeves and sieved the result until I had a pile of stuff then went through it.

Subject :Re: RE: [oberheim] Matrix-12 factory stock patches with multi data.Electrongate was good, other sites less good but if you want a result, you try anything.Took weeks auditioning etc.I don't have wav for.Xpander/M12, mostly SoundDiver, and some sysex and MID.Other storage locations should have everything I found, but will need a search.Sold Xpander so can't create cassette from these. May also have a factory cassette in storage, but don't hold your breath.
Where are you finding them Ideally am looking for a .wav file of the factory program data cassette.----- Original Message -----Sent: Thursday, January 07, 2016 4:20 AMSubject: Re: RE: [oberheim] Matrix-12 factory stock patches with multi data
I don't understand that warning. I went ahead and loaded them and they were fine.Nothing odd happened, except I got older. Can't blame synth patches for that, or can we

No. It’s very frustrating. The Xpander patches are available, but don’t make the mistake of using them. They are unusable.
Surely there is a SysX file out there some where.
