Hello Marielouise,
the Navigator is a device that is used by keyboardplayers, who want to
control the settings of many connected devices by one knob press on
their central keyboard. Today this device is typically no longer very
useful (todays keyboards include this function).
But there is another possible usage: the Navigator is one from a series
of Oberheim devices which all used the same hardware, but did completely
different things based on their softwar. The most sought-after version
is the Oberheim Cyclone.
So it might be interesting for someone to buy the Navigator and then
replace the software in it (which is doable) and then have a Cyclone.
My recommendation is to offer the Navigator on ebay in the category
Musical Instruments and Gear -> Pro Audio Equipment -> Synthesizers
(in german Musikinstrument -> Pro Audio -> Synthesizer). But put in the
headline "Oberheim Navigator (compatible to Cyclone)". I think you may
get between 50 and 100 Euros.
