I just joined the list so I could ask:

I have a Matrix 1000 whiteface. I purchased it new, and it has seen very light use all these
years. However, it developed a problem- although i can change patches manually from the
front panel, I am no longer able to change or set MIDI channel. The panel button(s) are
unresponsive.

No amount of "factory reset"-ing the unit will clear the problem. Is this a bug And does
anyone perform maintenance/repairs on these units

Currently, I do not use a software/editor with the unit.
