Not sure this will help, but on my OB-X:
1)Hold a chord
2)While holding the chord hit the "Hold" button (middle)
3)Let go of keys, the chord is still held and the Holdlight is on
4) Hit the "rest" button (far right, yours might say "chord"), the chord stops sounding
5) hit a key - this will trigger the key note and a transposed chord
When I am tired of this, I hit the "hold" button without depressing any key and the keyboard returns to normal.
Or at least that is how I remember it works.
