From what I can gather the OBMx voice cards came in two batches and the early ones aren't quite compatibale with the later ones. I have a four voice machine with the early operating system (1.04) and the extra card I put in it works but has timbre and tuning issues which can make polyphony problematic. I was wondering if any other OBMx owners out there might like to try a card swap to see if this can be fixed. I'm in London and if you have a later model with similar issues perhaps we could get together and try it. I know it's a long shot but it might just work.
