Hi
I used sysex exclusively for the 6R.
The Matrix 6 Midi spec does not say anything about NRPN's, so I didn't know about them when I had the 6R.
I have the BCR2000 now, and the PC1600 is easier to program, but the BCR looks cooler with th LEDS.
It seesm strange tha tthe Matrix 1000 works with sysex & NRPNs, but the 6R only works with sysex.
The BCR2000 cannto be programmed for sysex directly. You have to put it in learn mode and send the sysex string
from another device to it. You can edit the NRPNs dorectly though, so this would be a better idea.
THe PC1600 is much more flexible.

I am waiting for a matrix 1000. I have a BCR2000 knobbox, so I am not
really interested in PC1600 patches, but would love to hear HOW you
programmed the box (did you use sysex or NRPNs as the manual suggests
is possible without further explanation
)!!
