I had always thought that the keyboard was exactly the same as the rack.
EXACTLY. Same elex.. just had a keyboard strapped on. As was the case with
many synths of the day.
In which case, we've answered this question. Twice.
I guess we could answer it two more times if it'd make you feel better.
The keyboard was available as the Xk-1, btw.
In any case, as I said before, nothing is "built in" to the Matrix 6. Not
volume, not expression, nothing. If you want an input to do something,
expression or anything else, you gotta program it to do so through the
matrix modulation portion of each patch. You have to assign it a paramter
to modulate otherwise it won't, no matter what you plug in.
