Thanks to all of you who voted in the recent poll to promote me to moderator. I forwarded the response to Yahoo Groups management and they have upgraded me.

My first move was to change the moderation rules so that all messages must be moderated before being sent out and also that all new members must be approved manually.

This should help me get a hold on the spam problem that we all suffered with.

I've already gone through the message archives and will, bit by bit, remove the old spam messages from the archive.
