when I hit the switch the only thing that happens is the cartridge light blinks on for a second (sometimes) mostly red, sometimes green, then nothing. I would love to add this machine to my arsenal. Also, does the 707 have a dinsync out
I ordered a 606 and a jx-3p and I'm thinking if it has one I can run midi into the 707 then control my 606 and sequencer on the jx-3p via the dinsync on the 707 and have them all linked to my other gear. I could use some feedback cause I've gone about as I can go without knowing what to do. I've spent the better part of a FEW weekends trying to figure this out. I don';t know how to use my multimeter that well. I can find voltages and check for continuity. That's abo

Hello,
Are the batteries ok
Is the wallwart an original Roland power supply
If no then:
Is it a AC/DC converter
Id no: -> very bad; use wallwart which provides DC
If yes:
Is the polarity of the 12V-power correct
(I think it is + at the center contact, - at the outer contact; it is
written at the backside of the 707)
if no: -> change the polarity (or use a supply with right polarity).
If yes:
What how much power does the supply provide. It must be at least 12V
500mA (or 0.5A). As far as I remember right, the original supply
provided 700mA
Regarding the syncing: The JX3Ps Sequencer must be clocked by the
Trigger which you get from the 707-Rimshot. The JX3P does not read
MIDI-Clock!
