Hi everyone, my name is Devon. I record techno/house/and electro as "Rhythm Droid" in Tokyo and Los Angeles.

I'm starting a new live performance project involving my beloved TR-707, SH-101, and Korg Kaoss Pad 3.

What I'm working on right now is triggering one of the KP3 sample pads by using a relay which is being driven by the Rimshot Trigger Out. The problem is that I think the voltage is not high enough to trip the relay.

The rim trig is 5V right My relay might be 12V...is there an easy way to boost the trig signal Should I get a relay with a lower activation voltage

My final goal is to tap several trig points inside the 707 and use them to fire the sample pads of the KP3.
