Hi Devon!

My relay might be 12V...is there an easy way to boost the trig signal
Should I get >a relay with a lower activation voltage
>My final goal is to tap several trig points inside the 707 and use them to fire the sample pads of the KP3.
I would never use a relay for it. Why
1. It is too slow - adds some milliseconds to trigger.
2. It needs too much energy to make it trigger.
3. It could lead to disturbing signals around the relay.
I would recommend using analog switches as the 4066 (has 4 of these analog switches in it).
You could switch the analog switch pins in parallel to the KP3 pads.
My datadial that converts encoder movements into plus/minus button presses also uses analog switches and works fine. See
