Did you buy this 727 new, or is it yours and it worked fine before.

Do you have batteries in drum machine. I am not sure, but I think I
remember problems, when the 707/727 has no batteries.

Then: Check the supply voltages on the pcbs. For the measuring points
look at the service manual, which you can find at the files section:
