Ryan, if you tried this, did you have any luck with it I have the exact same problem, on the same channel even.

It sounded perfectly normal not long ago, and must have developed this problem while it sat untouched for a few months. I've tried re-soldering the pot and IC pins, thinking something might have come loose there, but with no effect.
