I always clean the metal contacts with a Q-tip & alcohol. If that doesn't do it, there are some products you can buy for fixing tv remote pads.(

) You paint on a thin layer of the conductive material onto the rubber contact pad and let dry for 24 hours. This almost always works. I've also had success with auto window defogger kits, (

Subject: [tr-707] TR-707 buttons problem
Hi,
I recently acquired a 707, but there's a small problem with it i'd like to repair.
There's 3 of the "step/instrument' buttons (steps 1,2, & 5, or both bass drums and low tom) that are not working any more. Except for this, everything works fine so i'm pretty sure the problem is situated on the switch board...
I opened it up and the switches on the board of those buttons seem a bit burnt. the rest looks fine, no bad soldering contacts etc...
Is there anyone who knows how to fix this
or is there no other way than to find another switch board
Thanks!
