Hi,
I live in Glasgow; Scotland.
I have owned midi gear since 1988. I have a large midi studio in my loft. I have a 909 and and 808 but certain Acid tracks on vinyl i liked had the 707 on them so i always wanted a 707 too. I also loved its sister the 727 Latin percussion unit.
Last week i bought a 2nd hand 707 from a local ad near me and love the wee machine :-)
It is in perfect condition; except a missing power button plastic cover; but that doesnt stop the machine powering on/off so im happy with its condition.
I downloaded the 707 manual and then had a look on YouTube for 707s.
I saw the video about being able to swap ROMS and its this method i want to copy to make my 707 a 727 as well.
Well; thats my 707 history. Ive liked it for a long time; finally bought one and now want it to be a dual 707/727 hence my reason for joining the the Yahoo Group TR707
Regards,
Paul.
