Hi all

I bought a tr707 from a guy and it was quite grimy/dirty and was acting weird .

I offered the guy 100 bucks and he said sure so I took it home and the next day

this is what I did

1 took off the case carefully, remove all of the buttons etc.
2 Using an old toothbrush , I went to town with hot soapy water to get off the grime and dirt. I also used my thumbnail and a tiny jewelers screwdriver to clean out the grooves and the sliders . ( anything with paint I used my nail, screwdriver for the rest)
3 Then after they dried I used a toothpick and q tips along with alcohol to get rid of any tough stains/scratches etc you can see the marks near the copy button , step 16 the TR707and the tempo knob that I cleaned off
4 : Gave it a quick wipe down with a damp cloth to remove any alcohol/dirt residue
5: while I waited for the stuff to dry, I cleaned the LEDs and also the sliders with alcohol/qtips too and cleaned the motherboards with a kleenex
6 Reassemble with new batteries
7: Did a factory reset and clened out the dudes crappy beats then put on headphones and party like its 1985!

I almost bought a 727 last year but I wasnt sure if I needed latin beats :(

is there a way to getthe factory preset patterns back AFter the reset they were all garbage and corrupted , so i deleted them as I said . Is there a file I can upload via the tape input
