Hi all,
I have a 727 which is in a sorry state.
When powered up the memory cartridge LED lights up. Usually it is an orange color. Occasionally random leds light up.
I can not get it past this state. I checked the power rails and they seem fine. I swapped out the 2 ram chips IC14 and IC15 as suggested earlier on the forum.
Now I am thinking I might put in a new OS/firmware chip.
I do not have the 727 OS, just the 707 one.
Does anyone have the 727 os, or could I just use the 707 one
Any ideas would be appreciated!
