I was resoldering slide pot in my roland tr 707, and i decided to check if one works without screwing all parts together. Machine did work for a bit and than switched off and gave a smell. I checked the voltage of power supply and plug in the machine with and without adaptor 

Maybe you have any clues on how i can fix the machine
