So finished up doing the pitch mod on my 707 (first try for this) using a cd40106 hex schmidt trigger chip to make 6 oscs. One for the BD, SD, all 3 toms, Cowbell, Tambo and HiHats.  The pitch mod works great but I'm having a strang issue with certain sounds not coming through on their own mixer channels. The low tom comes through the BD channel, and the low tom slider does nothing. Similarly the SD comes through the Tambo channel.  I unsoldered the legs of the gate array chip to use for the clock inputs, and I'm wondering if maybe those traces they were connected to may have been broken. Would that affect the routing of the audio I assumed it just had to do with the clock. Any pointers on where best to start debugging would be great.  Sorry if this is a duplicate msg too, I tried to post yesterday but I don't think it was successful.
