I was pleased to get a quick response to my email asking for people interested in becoming a moderator. Florian Anwander has answered the call and I've added him as a moderator for the group, so I hope everyone will make him feel welcome in this new role. Florian's handle is fanwander . He's been an active participant in the past and knows his way around a TR-707 (and TR-727!) in addition to a few other nifty gadgets. He also runs a few other groups so he knows how to handle the no-fun-but-necessary functions of blocking spam, banning users who send such spam etc.

I'd like to express my appreciation for all of you who regularly participate in this group. I got a 707 several years ago that needed a quick repair to the power input jack and I was desperate for advice on getting that sorted out and also a few other little bits of info. The group is not only helpful for pressing/immediate questions, but the archival value of a specialist page like this is tremendously high as people will stumble across posts for many years to come.
