Hi,
I'm new. i got this link when I posted a question about replacing the ROM
chips with EEPROMs on a dutch forum.
I have another idea, insteed of replacing the sounds, it would be nice to
make the volume sliders midi controllers.
So then you can just load the samples in a sampler, use the 707 as sequencer
and can still change volume/mute sounds
with volume sliders. That would be great for making a perfect 808 clone for
 taking on the road.
Or insteed of making the sliders midi controllers, add a mute knob for each
 sound.
Here's an chip whick alllows you to make midi controllers:

I forgot to say, that I'm not a techical guy. I can only do things that other
people have allready done by using their instructions. For the rest i just
like to open equipment en try to fix things with some clever thinhking :)
I got two 707's so one can be used to experiment.
 Regards,
 Sander
