Thanks allot! i will give it a go immediately. So what you are implying is that there is a possible failed cap somewhere along the board instead of the -10v dc dc converter part
I don't think it is a tantalum cap. They are quite easy to recognize: the look like a plastic drop, usually yellow or orange, sometimes blue.Should i also check C7
