I recall giving 2 folks detailed info via the 707 site dealing with individual voice group 555 tone mods. I'll see if I can find them. Here is a site that has my sound samples:

It might make the TR-707's more expensive, but it also might drop the modding prices, as people might be able to do the mods themselves.
Looking forward to your information! I browsed the web for quite some time but it does not seem to amaze me how little info is out there ...
